Sometimes I just sit in class and think wow, I really don’t belong here. This happens particularly in 4th period, when everyone has their worldly music on and watching YouTube videos and drooling over all sorts of celebrities. As each day goes on, I realize more and more how different I am from…

Ephesians 6:11-17
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

Great service today! The spirit of God was so full ♥ We didn’t even have any preaching, the spirit of God just took over. And two of the visitors got really touched :) God can and will fill them with the holyghost if they just reach for it ! I mean they were so close . Ahh, I hope they come back tonight.

 I was praying for them! I can see salvation! ~Acts 2:38

God’s wants the Real Us, Not us caked in make up.
Thought I’d share this awesome piece with you today since this is something that I used to deal with in the past and I know that most of us still struggle with this notion.
We all know that God is super perfect. Right? Well if you didn’t know that- He is! He is the definition of perfection and naturally the idea is just so overwhelming and hard for us to handle. Why? Because deep inside we feel that we aren’t perfect. We know that we are a mess and as a result we get this idea that we are way out of God’s league. We feel like we are better off sitting with the uncool and unpopular folks whilst God sits at the cool table. We feel like we can never measure up to the perfection that He has. We feel that if we try to approach God, He would either - get mad at us for being the imperfect beings we are, He would ignore us because we aren’t worth it since we can’t measure up to His standards and more. But I want to tell you today that these notions are so wrong and absolutely deceiving.
Why?
Because the God that I know in the Bible is super merciful and super awesome. Yes! He loves us all just as we are with all of our messes and imperfections. He wants to walk right into our messy lives and transform us into the Godly individual that He desires in us.
God doesn’t want us to cake ourselves with make up and whatnot to hide our true selves and identity. And even if we do so, He knows the real us so much so that He knows the count of the hairs on each of our heads. But the point is that God doesn’t want us to make an act and show Him that we are kinda sorta perfect people. No! God wants the messed up and the ruined person that we are. Why? Because that’s how much He loves us and He loves us so dearly.
Are you that kind of person who feels that you aren’t perfect enough for God? Do you feel that you have to put on an act just so that you can approach your Father who loves you very much? Well then today I want to tell and remind you that God loves you the way you are so come to Him the broken and ruined person you are. God will bring all that is ruined within you back to life and make you rise from the ashes and make a whole beautiful new creation out of you.
He is Waiting. He is waiting now and He will be waiting for you always because He loves you.
I hope you are inspired today to seek God in the midst off all of your imperfection because it is only through Him that we are made complete. Happy Thursday everyone. Be kind to one another and God Bless You All.

Waiting for God’s Best By Rebecca St. James
I’m often asked how I remain patient with God’s plan for my life when I’m still single. I’ve talked so much about it, it’s no secret—eventually I want to get married. The truth is that there have been many moments when I’ve been tired of waiting for the right guy to arrive. My mum challenged me once. “You need to let go and trust God with this,” she said. I started tearing up. She was right. I asked, “How do you let go of something so important?”
Relinquishing this to God has been quite a process, but I don’t want anything for myself that God doesn’t want for me. Where are the joy and abundant life in settling for something that He doesn’t desire for my life? Releasing this was incredibly freeing. I still believe God will grant me this desire, but I will trust God either way. Until you come to that place of abandonment, the grass always looks greener on the other side. If you can’t surrender something of such importance, the danger is that when it comes you will cling to it and suffocate it, and you may end up hurting the very thing you have longed for. I now feel that I will be able to go into marriage as a whole person. A better prayer than “God, when will You bring the special guy into my life?” is “God, I don’t know what You have in mind for my future … but I await whatever it is expectantly, knowing that You know me better than I even know myself.” I don’t want any less than what God has in mind. I want the best that He has in mind.
